The Goddess Dancing's 13th Annual showcase

The Fertile Crescent cradles us and once held the stirrings of our great human civilization. This year’s showcase honors beginnings and that which nourishes us. From the formless elements that are our foundation in “Elemental Alchemy”, to the crescent of civilizations springing from Mesopotamia in “Patshiva”, to the brave women who brought a new dance to audiences in a new world in “Bring on the Dancing Girls”, we honor them all in “The Fertile Crescent”.

Mystic Chakra Groove

When channeled through the heart, the energies of the lower and upper chakras are integrated, bringing balance, harmony and serenity.

Patshiva

Patshiva is the Romany word for a celebration held when two groups join up. They are done as a reminder of, and to ensure long lasting Friendships. This dance honors the traveling ROM who were unafraid to bring their culture with them.

Elemental Alchemy

This improvisational group dance depicts the four elements, the building blocks of the universe, coming together to create the new and to dismantle the old.
